A Walk With Friends

My friend Denise and her family live in the heart of sugar house. She invited us over for a play date and we decided to take a walk down to all the shops. I was gunning for pibs exchange and the DI so I could finish up our Halloween costumes. It was such a FUN adventure!! I LOVE sugar house. It has such a charming vibe to it.

This is a community garden. It's right in the middle of the city. I thought it was so cool, I had to take a picture.

After our long walk we treated ourselves to "Bruges" They have really great fries aka "frites" and waffles.

I think we ordered WAY to many fries... Is there such a thing? LOL

Peace, Love and Gardens

This weekend we went to the  International Peace Gardens. I had never even heard of this place until a photographer friend of mine told me about it and oh my stars..... I LOVED this place! It is such a cool place to take pictures, and let the kids run around and learn about all the different countries. It's so cool finding hidden gem's like this in Salt Lake.

Tiny little swiss house for a tiny little boy.

Andy and I being geek burgers with a side of dork sauce!
It was practically raining leaves in this garden. Andy has it on video tap. It felt like we were in a dream. Amazing!

Rowan was obsessed with this statue... Ha ha
This is a beautiful Chinese garden. So Cool!

Your Mom Goes To College!

Andy was invited to a Saturday morning meet and greet this weekend at West Minister. It's a chance to get a tour of the campus, meet some instructors and get a feel for what the Master's program would Intel. It was fun! However, Andy pretty much knows everyone there and is very familiar with the campus. He did his undergrad at West Minister. They had a nice breakfast with music and we even got to see the mascot! LOL
 Mr. Serious..

There he is.... It's Mr. Griffin! LOL

This school is absolutely beautiful! It has a real old school vibe.
This field is brand new.. It sits on top of a parking garage. CRAZY!

Hay Rides.. And Pumpkins...And Costumes.. Oh MY!!

It's that time of year again!!! I love OCTOBER! Never a dull moment in this month. We usually go to the pumpkin patch and then head over to Corn Belly's down at Thanksgiving Point. But this year I wanted to switch it up a bit. Andy mentioned Wheeler Farm. I don't think I had ever been to wheeler farm this time of year and I had heard it was to die for. So off we went... We had a blast! We took a hay ride, went through a corn maze and got to pick out a pumpkin to take home before we left. It was so beautiful. I think we saw like ten photographers there taking family photos.

 Spooky!

 Yay! pumpkins!

She's saving these two for me. LOL

We've got our costume's ready for Halloween! Ella is Katy Perry. Rowan is a Ninja Turtle and Gwen is a baby penguin!!

So what chicken but!
