I'm Thankful For...

So I've decided in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I would blog every day up until Thanksgiving about what I am thankful for. I am thankful for numerous things, but to kick off my 22 days of thankfulness I thought I would start with being thankful for my home, house, crib, casa, whatever you like to refer to it as.. LOL Seriously though, I LOVE my home. I have never NOT wanted to come home. Its perfect for our little family. I love the fact that I live in a circle. It gives me a sense of seclusion and privacy. We have a nice sized yard equipped with a fire pit, which is nice no matter what the weather is. Aside from the materialistic things and shelter my home offers, it is also the first home Andy and I purchased, and it so happens to be the home Andy grew up in. It is filled with so many memories, from bringing Rowan and Gwen home from the hospital to teaching Ella and Rowan how to ride a bike. This year Andy put up a basketball hoop for the whole neighborhood to use. He put in a light and even painted (and measured exactly) a court on the asphalt. We are surrounded with awesome friends and neighbors and honestly if it wasn't for this house I doubt we would be where we are spiritually. We were sealed in the temple in this home as well. The list goes on and on of all the great memories we have in our little blue house at the end of the street that we are so grateful to call HOME!!
I was looking for a photo of our house and this is the only one I could find. LOL Don't mind Katy Perry and the lion in the picture.
This was the very first picture I ever took of the three little munchkins together looking half decent. Ha ha

ELLA BLUE

Last night I was going through Ella's school bag and noticed that she had gotten a 100% on her spelling test! This isn't the first one either... AND she sold enough cookie dough to win a Limo lunch to classic skating! She was ecstatic! Again, I was so proud! I started thinking about her and all of her achievements and thought, you know what? I need to blog about this. I am not trying to brag... Well I kind of am.. LOL but she really is an awesome kid! She is always helping me out around the house. She keeps her room clean and tidy. She actually reminds ME that she has homework, and does a weeks worth in one day. She loves to learn and is excellent at math. Ella is kind and generous. All she wants is for everyone to be happy. She would give her last treat, snack or just about anything to someone who didn't have any. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful spirit in our lives.

She got to dress up in a Halloween costume for dance and chose to be an angel.. (the costume had to be something she could dance in) I thought it was so fitting because she IS my little angel. I seriously LOVE this little girl so much. Sometimes I feel like I put to much pressure on her because she is the oldest, and I don't always show her how amazing she is but she is truly one of a kind. Ella, I love you!

This is Ella's costume for her up coming dance recital at the Christmas show.
 100% baby!!!!

Ella holding her brand new baby sister in the hospital. I am so happy that she has a sister to share her life with.

This was Ella's very first trophy she won for dance.

 My little kitty!

Off to school! I cant believe she is already in first grade... CRAZY!

 GO POWER PLUS!!!!

Ella did cheer for two years but we decided to concentrate more on competition dance.
Ella drew this picture in primary. It's a picture of her family! MELT MY HEART!

Annual PUMPKIN/HALLOWEEN Party!!

It's that time of year again!! Every year we have an annual pumpkin carving party. It basically just turnes into a Halloween party. We had such a good time. This year there were quite a few people who dressed up. We also did a chili cook off and gave away prizes for best chili and best costume. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!
